Safe & Sane Fireworks Sales

The City of Fillmore is the only city in Ventura County to allow the sale of California State Fire Marshal Approved Safe & Sane Fireworks. Each year, fireworks go on sale starting June 28, 12:00pm – July 5, 12:00pm . All fireworks purchased in Fillmore must be used in the City of Fillmore only. Purchasing and transporting fireworks outside the City of Fillmore may result in criminal penalties or arrest.  

Each year, the City of Fillmore licenses approximately 20 Fillmore-based non-profit organizations to sell fireworks as a fundraiser. This unique fundraising opportunity is a great way for organizations to fundraise and support ongoing operational costs. 

Professional Fireworks Show

In partnership with numerous organizations, the City of Fillmore will be hosting a professional fireworks show on July 3, 2023 at 9:00pm. This year’s show will be launched from the Fillmore Middle School located at 543 A Street, Fillmore.
